Michael Deed

Actor

Grounded drama. Sharp comedy. Characters with a plan, a secret, or both.

I’m a Brisbane-based actor, originally from New Zealand. I work across grounded drama, crime, thriller and comedy.

At 192 cm, I’m often a fit for authority, ambiguity, pressure, charm and threat, especially when the character knows more than they’re saying.

I also write, direct, edit and shoot. It means I understand story, coverage, rhythm and what a scene needs once it reaches the edit.
